First things first, can you tell us about the proposal?

Sean took me to my favourite restaurant in Malvern (I've been going there since I was young with my Mum, Dad and brother) we know the family that own it so Sean arranged for them to take the ring out of his coat pocket and got me to ask for the bill, when they were meant to bring the bill over they put the ring box in front of me, Sean then came round to me and got down on one knee!! Apparently I never said yes!!

What made you choose Redhouse Barn for your wedding day?

We looked at two venues and to be honest the other one we looked at didn't compare to Redhouse Barn, not even close.  We instantly fell in love.  It had such a lovely feeling to it and Jane was fab!!

Was it love at first sight when dress shopping or did you have try a few on before finding the perfect one? And not forgetting the suits for the boys, how did they get on?

I only tried on one dress and it was as beautiful on as it was on the hanger.  The ladies at Perfections in Worcester were fabulous.   

The suits were easy as well..  Only problem was some good friends of ours got married a month before us so we had to change the waistcoats last minute as we didn't want the same.

So, Venue booked, how was the rest of the planning process?

To be honest I don't understand brides that say they hated the planning process! I loved it and I personally think that was down to our choice in suppliers.

Fast forwarding through all the planning to the actual ceremony, how were the emotions for both of you during the ceremony?

We both felt fine, we didn't really know what to expect as I'm sure a lot of people will understand.  I (Charlotte) absolutely loved my wedding morning and I didn't feel stressed at all and that is down to all of you at Redhouse Barn, so I think that had a big part to play in how the day panned out.  Our vicar was a great laugh as well so that made things easier.

Did you have a theme or colour scheme running through the day? Tell us a little bit about your flowers and any other personal touches.

We had a blush colour scheme and it was beautiful, the flowers were amazing thanks to Alison at Lili Floral Art.  My bouquet made me cry!!

How would you describe the food and service throughout the day?

Oh my god.  The food was to die for, it was exactly what Sean and I had envisioned. Perfect.  The service was brilliant, honestly could not fault any of it!!

What kind of cake did you go for? Was it traditional/ modern/ flavoured/ cupcakes/ naked?

We had a cheese cake because we are cheese lovers!!

How did your first dance go?

Our first Dance went great, we aren't ones for dancing and having everyone stare at us!! So once we'd had a minute or so we called everyone on to save us!

What do your guests mention most about your wedding day?

The Venue, the food and the weather!  We were so lucky.  So many people have said it is the best wedding they've ever been to.

Is there anything you would change if you were to do it all again?

The only thing that let it down was the photo booth supplier didn't bring the guest book :(

Do you have any hints or tips for couples looking to get married?

Just enjoy the experience, from the planning to the actual day itself, it's an amazing thing to do and it's over in a flash!

And also do exactly what you both want because that's what will make it perfect.

Finally, where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went to Orlando (Disney World) and Mexico.  It was lovely but nothing tops our wedding day thanks to the wonderful people at Redhouse.
