Q. Do you allow candles around the barns?
Yes, candles are allowed throughout the wedding reception with suitable candle holders. Storm lanterns are also provided by the Barns both inside and out creating a magical atmosphere. Festoon lights are artfully hung illuminating the trees and garden areas. There are lots of fairy lights internally and externally to add extra twinkle!
Due to health and safety, unfortunately we cannot have low fire pits in the Gardens, especially if you have children at the wedding however, we do have two new poser table gas fire pits in the rear courtyard (with a small gas charge), high enough to ensure no little fingers get too close!
Please note Registrars no longer allow any real flames in the Ceremony Room. We suggest you use either fairy lights with batteries in lanterns or LED candles during the ceremony. Please also do not use real candles with artificial flower arrangements, as they can catch fire! Please use LED candles with any flammable materials nearby.
Q. Do you allow confetti?
Yes, the bride and groom are permitted to supply fresh/ dried confetti to their guests which can be purchased through ourselves at trade prices (www.shropshirepetals.com) or better still raid your own garden for lovely fresh petals! The Barn provides confetti baskets if required. Confetti may be thrown on arrival from the church; as you leave the Brick Barn following your ceremony or externally for a larger group shot. Please remind guests not to bring their own confetti.
Q. Is there a charge for setting up the ceremony room, sweet trollies or any other personal touches?
There is no charge for setting up your ceremony room as per your instructions with either a central or gable end layout. Any decorative accessories you want to provide are set up for you, even if you want to provide your own sweet table with jars and scoops, these will be set up for you during the wedding breakfast at no extra charge.
If you would like Morgans to provide sweet jars and scoops (and you provide the sweets and bags), this can be provided at £30 hire.

Q. Do you provide anything at the entrance to the Barns on the wedding day itself?
Yes, we provide a rustic blackboard with coloured balloons to match your wedding day theme free of charge.
Q. Can we drop off decorations and personal items prior to the wedding day?
Yes, we suggest you bring any non-perishable decorations such as table plans and favours etc and any items for the bridal party to get ready in advance of the day (to be discussed with the owners). Perishable items such as the wedding cake or flowers should be bought on the morning of the wedding to ensure they are in perfect condition.
